Possible Listeria contamination has prompted the recall of sliced ​​white mushrooms sold in Ontario and Quebec and possibly other provinces or territories.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency stated that Carleton Mushroom has recalled mushrooms prepared for Metro Brands.

The product is sold in a 227-gram package and the best use date is October 25, 2021.

Customers were told to either throw away the mushrooms or return them to the store where they were purchased.

There are no reports of any diseases related to this product.
